AOC CHÂTEAUNEUF DU PAPE

TERROIRS

At the heart of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, La Fiole du Pape Blanc is born from a mosaic of rare and radiant terroirs, shaped by the sun and the mistral wind. Sourced from carefully selected parcels across the appellation’s most emblematic communes, this wine expresses the full richness of soils combining rolled pebbles, sands and limestone.

The blend of traditional white grape varieties, Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne and Bourboulenc, composes a subtle harmony where freshness, finesse and depth interact seamlessly. Each variety brings its own nuance, contributing to the delicate balance that defines the great white wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Harvesting is carried out by hand in the early hours of the day, preserving the integrity and freshness of the grapes. The fruit is then gently pressed to extract juices of remarkable purity.

Fermentation at low temperatures gradually reveals the wine’s full aromatic finesse. This precise and respectful approach to the raw material preserves the brightness of the fruit and the most authentic expression of the grape varieties.

Aged on fine lees for six months in concrete and stainless steel tanks, La Fiole du Pape Blanc gains texture and complexity while retaining remarkable tension. The final blend, a true signature of the House, seeks perfect harmony between roundness and vibrancy.

The wine then reveals an elegant and radiant expression, with a fresh attack, a full and balanced palate, and a finish extended by citrus and mineral notes. A contemporary and refined interpretation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, both approachable today and capable of graceful evolution.

TASTING

This wine displays a pale golden hue with crystalline highlights, remarkably clear and bright.

The nose, both complex and restrained, expresses itself with finesse. In its youth, it reveals a pronounced mineral backbone with citrus notes, gradually opening up with aeration to aromas of yellow and exotic fruits, delicately enhanced by floral nuances and a subtle smoky touch reminiscent of flint.

On the palate, the attack is fresh and lively, offering a fine balance between roundness and tension. Citrus and mineral notes extend elegantly, giving way to a broader texture. The finish is long and harmonious, confirming the wine’s refinement.

Approachable today, it will also evolve gracefully over the coming years. Best enjoyed at 10–12°C, paired with fine fish, shellfish or delicately spiced dishes.
